Onoging quest to transform Nusajaya into a Metropolis by 2025

The ambition of Smart + Connected Nusajaya is for everyone – governments, service providers, private enterprises and citizens— to share data across a common broadband network, or Service Delivery Platform (SDP). The platform uses intelligent networking capabilities to weave together people, services, community assets, and information into a single pervasive solution.

In a landmark agreement, Iskandar Investment and UEM Land Holdings (UEM) jointly announced their collaboration with Cisco to develop a masterplan that will transform Nusajaya into a Smart + Connected Community. The deal will see the creation of a core city network that will connect up individual smart buildings of home, office, school, hospital etc, to a central city management bank.

When these buildings are linked, it will enable people to manage energy usage in their homes, work in a combination of physical and virtual offices, interact with students and teachers around the world, obtain health care regardless of location, make greener choices about how they travel, enjoy a more personalised, more productive shopping experience and to connect seamlessly with one another.

Smart + Connected Nusajaya is designed to enhance the quality of life for those living and working in, and surrounding, Iskandar Investment’s landbank. The project is a key example of our mission to create value for all stakeholders.

Modern infrastructure and connectivity are the two main keys that contribute to the rising capital for all who own skates in Nusajaya of Iskandar Malaysia.
